Within 48 hours of the launch date, U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen of Texas put a stop to President Barack Obama’s expansion of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which was expected to go into effect on February 18.
President Obama took executive action on immigration reform on November 20, 2014.
